About This Course

This one-hour online module introduces key concepts of leadership within clinical settings, focusing on the practical relevance for doctors. Learners will explore different leadership styles, reflect on their own approach, and examine the distinctions between leadership and management in healthcare. Through real-world examples and reflective exercises, the course highlights how effective leadership contributes to better team dynamics, patient care, and professional growth.

This course is suitable for doctors who have not completed RCPI's Taught Programme as part of their Training Scheme and wish to learn the fundamentals of leadership.
