Continuous Professional Development – Support Scheme (CPD-SS): Self-directed Pathway
This programme offers you a choice of courses which you can enrol on based on your personal learning goals up to the value of 20 CPD vouchers. The courses available include courses equivalent to corresponding HST Mandatory courses but are not part of a training programme. These courses can be used as one of the requirements for application to the Speciality Division of the Register.
Doctors on the CPD-SS get free access to training and educational activities worth up to 20 external CPD credits or totalling three days per year, whichever is greatest.
This one-hour self-paced online course engages with the theory of reflective practice and how it may apply to doctors in the Irish healthcare system. There is a variety of literature, supporting resources, scenarios, case examples, videos, methods, and templates available to learners as they progress through the course.
