Develop advanced skills in the use of Zoom 

This training session will cover core considerations when designing and delivering a virtual or online course. It is designed to give a better understanding of the Zoom functionality used for teaching online.  The training session can be accessed via RCPI Brightspace.

This short training session will include:

• Approaches to implementing virtual sessions
• Guidance for facilitating interactive virtual sessions
• Roles and responsibilities of the Facilitator, the Learner, and the Co-ordinator during delivery
• Tips on how to record a presentation

What you will learn

On completion of this course you will:

• Identify the effective approaches when designing and delivering an online/virtual educational session
• Understand the expectations of the individuals involved during the delivery of a virtual session, including you as the Facilitator, the Learner who is attending your session, and the tasks assigned to the RCPI Co-ordinator
• Apply Zoom tools to manage and deliver an interactive virtual session
• Understand best practice for recording a lecture
