This blended course contains online content and a 3-hour virtual interactive tutorial.
The course covers the essential elements for maintaining and improving health and wellbeing while in Training through effective stress management techniques, meditation, increasing resilience, and creating psychologically safe space in a workplace setting. It has been specially designed for SpRs who supervise junior doctors and interns.
On completion of this course you will be able to:
• Understand and manage common causes of stress, both personal and work-related
• Use tools and techniques to build resilience and wellbeing
• Recognise the signs of stress and burnout in others and what to do about it
• Understand the health and wellbeing supports available to you
