About this course
This is a two day blended course which includes online material that must be completed prior to attending the virtual tutorials. The online material is available through Brightspace.
The first day of the tutorials is designed to introduce the concept of leadership in a clinical context, increasing self-awareness of strengths and limitations, leadership challenges as well as how company culture and strategy impact leadership.
The second day of the tutorials refers to quality improvement, quality in healthcare and how quality improvement and leadership are linked. It also looks at leaders as risk managers, the difference between mentoring and coaching and how immunity to change impacts leadership.
