About this course

BST Leadership in Clinical Practice is a blended learning programme. This two-day course is delivered virtually in lecture style with interactive activities throughout. It consists of three separate courses:

  1. Leadership in Clinical Practice online: Teaching Skills and Patient Safety online courses available on RCPI : 4 hours
  2. Leadership in Clinical Practice: Communication Skills blended course with online content and short virtual tutorial: 1.5 hour online content and 3 hour tutorial
  3. Leadership in Clinical Practice: Leadership Skills blended course with online content and virtual tutorials, 2 days.

You are booking your place at the two-day virtual tutorial covering leadership skills and personal effectiveness.  

Format of course delivery

The course will be delivered virtually over the course of two days with two sessions per day; one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The morning sessions are 2.5 hours in duration followed by a break for lunch. The afternoon sessions are 2 hours in duration.

Please note: particpants on the course must be available throughout the full duration of the course and cannot be working a shift or leave during the course. Video cameras must be switched on throughout the course and participants must engage on the day.

A laptop or tablet with a strong internet connection is required.
